Refund & Shipping Policy

REFUNDS

Due to the nature of our handmade products we are unable to accept returns. If you receive a defective product (Melted product does not constitute as a defected product.) please notify us within 5 business days of receiving your product. Contact us at sweetskinlife@gmail.com, with a photo of the damaged item, and we will arrange to have the product shipped back to us. We recommended insuring the return and getting the tracking information. We will then either replace the item or issue a full refund for the damaged. All refunds for the product price are applied to the original method of payment. Please allow us 10 business days to process returns.

 

SHIPPING

It is the buyers responsibility to enter the correct address, when entering the buyer's shipping address. Any package that is sent to an incorrect address or customer didn't retrieve their package from the post office and the post office returned it to us, the buyer will be responsible for the cost to ship it again. This includes "free shipping" listings. Free shipping applies to the first shipment only. If a mistake is made when entering the shipping address, please notify us within 48 hours, so the corrections can be made on the shipping label. Once the order has been shipped it is the buyer's responsibility to track it down order. 

DAMAGED or UNDELIVERED PACKAGES:

All orders $I00 or less include insurance through USPS. If your order is more then $100 and you wish to insure it, there will be an additional fee billed to the buyer. 

If your package is missing in action, we unfortunately have to wait 15 days to file a claim through USPS and damaged claims can be filed immediately. 

We are happy to enter a lost/damage claim for you on USPS and accommodate a reshipment of your package when a claim has been PAID. To file a loss/damage claim, you must notify us by email- sweetskinlife@gmail.com within 7 days of the shipment date with pictures of damage and within 7 days of delivery if the package tracks delivered but doesn't show up at your house. We will have to wait on USPS approval to proceed with your replacement package. Don’t throw away the packaging until your claim is completed.

If you enter the claim online yourself, we are unable to do anything further for you regarding your damaged/lost package.

Sadly, USPS does consider their job done once a package is marked as "Delivered," even if your recipient didn’t receive the package. From what we’ve seen, USPS does generally deny claims if the package goes missing after it's been marked as "Delivered."
